You will Need:

Balsa wood
Scissors & hole punch
String
Beads

Aim to get balsa that is around 1.5 or 2mm thick if you don’t want to use craft knives to cut it.

Cut your balsa in small tag sizes using your scissors. Punch a hole in one end. Thread your string and bead through and secure with a knot.

If you’d like to decorate your tags, consider using stamps and ink, paint pens or other methods. You’re only limited by your imagination!

Your wooden gift tags are complete! They’re such a simple way to personalise your gifts a little more. Don’t forget to check out the other projects in the 12 DIYs of Christmas too!
