One // Two // Three // Four // Five // Six
March, the first month of Autumn! As much as I love summer, its nice to get a reprieve from the heat, especially since the air-con in our car AND home have just decided they don’t want to play anymore. As a stark contrast the past few days have brought torrential rain, which is great for the jasmine climbers I just planted. One has grown nearly a foot in less than a week!
As the weather cools down I’m expecting my Fiddle Leaf Fig to halt its growth, but for now there are three baby fresh leaves coming through. But, without further ado, here are my March Favourites that have been playing around my mind (and Pinterest Boards) the last little while…
While I’m more of a greenery gal than a floral femme, I have noticed I’m starting to love wildflowers more and more. They are pretty without being overly contrived, like a store bouquet can be. Similarly, I always thought since I have so much greenery in the house, I would steer away from art prints that are botanical, but I recently purchased this amazing print, and I have to admit, I am starting to obsess a little over Australian flora! Isn’t it just stunning (and affordable)?!
While most of my life has involved me being creative in some way or another, over the past few years of blogging, I have been wrestling with the place that it has in my life and whether it is worthwhile to pursue. I’ve started reading Called to Create and am LOVING the intrinsic purpose and value it talks about creativity having in our lives.
As the weather is starting to cool down here in Australia, the colour palette is heating up! I’m loving terracotta tones – in clothing, homewares, you name it. I’m even enjoying the slight clash when paired with blush pink, and when also paired with one of my faves, moss green.
A new blogger fave of mine is Allyson in Wonderland – while the style blogger niche is a leeetle bit overpopulated, I just love her gorgeous yet simple style. Keep an eye out for her Instastory try-on sessions!
